We can provide stump grinding but unless the tree is enormous we tend to favor the somewhat counter cultural method of digging the stump out. Can take a little longer but gives better results as there is no stump to rot away and you don’t get left with a sunken lawn 5 years down the road.
TPO and Conservation area related work
TPO stands for Tree Preservation Order. Any tree can have a TPO. No pruning, shaping, cutting, removing or felling can be done on a tree with a TPO. The same applies to trees in a conservation area. Consent must be gained from the local planning department (normally through the tree officers) before any work can be carried out. Applications take 6 weeks. Much of LeedsTreeCare’s work historically has been with TPO trees or in conservation areas, so we are experienced and familiar with the whole process. We will happily handle the application process as we have a good working relationship with the Leeds tree officers and planning department
